This species is reported as living on the bulbs of cultivated lilies in various parts of the world. However, in Taiwan it has never been recorded from lily plants growing in field conditions, although it has been found in stored lily bulbs imported from other countries. Therefore, this species is not included here in this paper as Taiwanese Liothrips View in CoL .
