Petrolisthes glasselli Haig, 1957 View in CoL

Material examined. Collected at Isla Roqueta in the Acapulco region, one male (ICMyL MAZ 9338A), one female (ICMyL MAZ 9332B), and two ovigerous females (ICMyL MAZ 9332C).

Remarks. This crab has a wide distribution on the Eastern tropical Pacific coast from the Gulf of California to the Galápagos Islands (Brusca 1980). Certainly uncommon in the Gulf, most records in the Mexican tropical Pacific waters come from the Huatulco region (Ramírez-Luna et al. 2002, García-Madrigal & Andréu-Sánchez 2009). In our study, we recorded this species at several sites along the study area and confirm its presence in Mexican waters.
