Material examined. Collected only once at Morros del Potosí (in the Ixtapa region) with one female (ICMyL MAZ 9326A) and two ovigerous females (ICMyL MAZ 9326B).

Remarks. This species ranges in the Eastern Pacific from the west coast of the Baja California peninsula through the Gulf of California to the Mexican tropical Pacific coast, at Bahía Navidad (Álvarez del Castillo et al. 1992), Faro de Bucerías (18°21´N, 103°31´W) (Herrera-Arriaga 2004), and the Huatulco region (Ramírez-Luna et al. 2002; García-Madrigal & Andréu-Sánchez 2009). We found P. spinidactylus only once at Morros del Potosí in the Ixtapa region.
