Material examined. One specimen from Pacífica (17°39´N, 101°36´W) (in the Ixtapa region) (CONABIO HJ011 ID 109), one surveyed at La Ensenada (CONABIO HJ011 ID 169), and two records at Carrizales (19°05´N, 104°26´W) (CONABIO HJ011 ID 250).

Remarks. This species has been recorded from the Gulf of California to Ecuador (Brusca, 1980), however no data at intermediate sites were made. Our study closes the gap in its distribution and provides new records out of the Gulf of California, about 1,200 km south in the Mexican tropical Pacific waters.
