1. Thesium clade (BIPP 1).

— This clade ( Fig. 2A ) contains all species now classified as Thesium and includes taxa formerly placed in Austroamericium , Chrysothesium , Kunkeliella , and Thesidium . The monophyly of Thesium including these genera and excluding Lacomucinaea is also resolved with chloroplast markers with the highest support.
