M a t e r i a l e x a m i n e d: China: 1♂, Jiangxi, Wuyi Shan, Huanggang Shan, 27.83°N, 117.76°E, 2000 m, broadleaved forest with bamboo, litter sifted, 5.VI.2001, leg. Cooter & Hlaváč (coll. Assing).
C o m m e n t: Nepalota chinensis had been recorded from Shaanxi and Hubei ( ASSING 2015); PACE (1998, 2011) doubtfully reported the species also from Yunnan, based on two females. The above male represents the first record of the species and the second record of the genus from Jiangxi.
