It develops in basidiomes of various species of fungi of the genus Trametes , growing on deciduous trees.
Distribution: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, Croatia, Russia (European Territory, Far East), Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Great Britain, Germany, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherland, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine ( Jelínek, 2008).
