= Asplenium delitescens (Maxon) L.D.Gómez, Brenesia View in CoL 8: 52. 1976.
Range:— Cuba; southern Mexico to Venezuela and along the Andes to Bolivia (BE, LP); northeastern Brazil.
Ecology:— Locally fairly common; terrestrial, rarely on rocks; to 800(1400) m.
Notes:— Hybrids are suspected with H. laetum ( Murakami & Moran 1993) . Hymenasplenium delitescens closely resembles Asplenium abscissum in blade shape and texture, but the latter species has erect rhizomes, winged rachises, and obovate, evenly serrate (vs. quadrangular-truncate, irregularly serrate) pinnae.
