Range:— Bolivia ( CH, CO, LP, SC, TA), Argentina; southeastern Brazil; Africa; Madagascar; Mascarenes; southern India, Sri Lanka.
Ecology:— Fairly common; terrestrial and saxicolous in semihumid forests; 950–2400 m.
Notes:— The distinctness of this species from A. discrepans is uncertain, but pinnae of A. inaequilaterale are generally larger, 3–5 cm long, as well as wider (usually> 1 cm); hybrids are suspected from Bolivia ( Sundue 2011).
