Remarks. Poecilobothrus regalis is a very common species in the lower elevations of Bulgaria (1–350 m a.s.l.), recorded with a large number of specimens along river banks and ponds with well-developed hygrophilous vegetation ( Kechev et al. 2014; Kechev & Ivanova 2015a; Kechev 2019).
