Male imago (n = 1)

All measurements and ratios are within the variation of A. conigerus with the following exceptions and additions: Total length 2.59 mm; total length/wing length 2.02; wing length/length of profemur 3.45; coloration brownish black; AR 1.42; palpomere 5 85 µm long; 8 dorsocentral setae; Cu 1 slightly curved; BR 1 3.9; ta 4 of middle leg 54 µm long, of hind leg 59 µm long; LR 3 0.50; BR 3 4.1; anal point rounded, 16 µm long; virga broad, dark, 14 µm long; gonocoxite 210 µm long; superior volsella reaching 0.46 gonocoxite length; gonostylus 80 µm long.

Female, pupa and larva

Remarks

Considering the variation within some of the other species, A. wangorum could eventually turn out to be conspecific with A. longicrus . However, the differences found in the present material are significant.

Distribution

The species in known only from the type locality in Inner Mongolia, China .
