Antepronotum lobes well developed or occasionally slightly narrowed medially. Anal lobe of wing reduced or weak except in H. kisotriangulata ; no false vein. Anal point rounded, with weak microtrichia to apex Phallapodeme with apical tooth or projection or with two teeth except in H. brevicornis and H. kisotriangulata ; virga with additional weak spinules; transverse sternapodeme with weak or without oral projections; superior volsella absent; inferior volsella with accessory lobe present; crista dorsalis not evident. Pupa known only of H. brevicornis with tergal conjunctives VII/VIII and sternal conjunctives III/IV bare, and 2–3 reduced anal macrosetae.
