COMMENTS.
Adoretus cludtsi belongs to pulverulentus Laporte, 1840 group, here defined: great species:
♂:≥ 11.5 mm; ♀:≥ 12mm.
Body brown, totally covered by short close decumbent white scales.
♂: clypeus trapezoidal; ♀: clypeus rounded.
It is extremely similar to A. sebakuensis but can be distinguished by:
Presently known only from Kenya. Distributed from Tanzania to Republic of South Africa.
Aedeagus: parameres short and broad, apex forming Aedeagus: parameres more elongate, narrower to the 2 dorsal and 2 ventral curved processes; dorsal base, wider at middle; apex sinuate with short processes strongly sinuate and touching apically, yellowish setae, without processes (Figs 26 27).
