Type locality and specimens. Fundort [locality]: Muconge-Farm , Mungofluss [Mungo River], Kamerun [Camer- oon]. (Hamburger Museum) .

Dimensions. Länge (ohne Endbeine): Bis 55 mm [legth without ultimate legs up to 55 mm].

Type material. Syntypes 4 ( ZMH-A0000643 , ZMH-A0009331-9333 ). CAMEROON: Mungo River (“ Muconge Farm ”?) [ca. 4°50’N, 9°28‘’E] .

Type status. Attems (1928) did not specify the number of specimens in his description and the present specimens are syntypes.

Collection remarks. The type locality refers to a former German settlement in West Africa. We were unable to georeference Muconge Farm and the coordinates refer to the Mungo River .
