Type locality and specimens. Fundort [locality]: Quilpué (Dr. Michaelsen coll. 1♀.).

Dimensions. Länge [length] 40 mm, Breite [width] 1 mm. 67 Beinpaare [leg pairs] (1♀).

Collection remarks. This specimen was collected by Wilhelm Michaelsen during his expedition to the southern tip of South America 1892–93.

Current systematic position. Junior synonym of Plateurytion gracilis (Gervais, 1849) according to Silvestri (1905: 762).
