Dimensions. Long. [length] 62 m. m [mm].; lat. [width]: 5 m. m. [mm]; long. ant. [length of antenna]: 16 m. m. [mm]; long. ped. an. [length of ultimate legs]: 15 m. m. [mm].

Type material. Syntype ( ZMH-A0000645 ). INDIA: Maharashtra State, Mumbai (“ Bombay ”) [ca. 18°58’N, 72°49’E] GoogleMaps .

Preservation. 1 jar: Label 1. Otostigmus orientalis Por. Ex typis Mus. Stockholm C. 30. VI.03 Bombay.

Collection remarks. The specimen came from the collection of the Museum of Natural History in Stockholm (Naturhistoriska riksmuseet) and additional syntypes are likely present there.
