Type locality and specimens. Brasilien [ Brazil], Staat Grao Para, Insel [Isle] Marajo, Distrikt [District] Caldeirao [Caldeirão] .

Dimensions. (ohne Endbeine) [without terminal legs] 40 mm.

Type material. Holotype. BRAZIL: Pará State, Salvaterra [ca. 0°45’N, 48°31’W]. GoogleMaps

Old type catalogue. Weidner (960), p. 66, No. 26. Holotype.

Remarks. The type is listed as present in Weidner (1960) and Kraepelin’s catalogue but actually lost. There is no record of how and when the specimen was lost but it is listed as lost (“ fehlt ”) on file card. The type locality probably refers to Vila De Caldeirão in Salvaterra, Pará.
