Type specimens. Holotype, F, THAILAND: Kanchanaburi Prov. Sri Sawat Dist., Dong Yai subdist., 14.697ºN 98.870ºE, 350 m alt., 17 Jul 2002, Cognato, Gillogly & Harlin, ex Leptaulax dentatus (Fabricius) . Deposited in EMBT. Paratypes, THAILAND: 2 F, 3 M, same data as holotype (S74026-30).

Diagnosis. Both sexes: idiosoma 1090 –1160 long, without large pores; ventral shield lineate-reticulate, ventrianal and marginal shields smooth; anterolateral corner of ventrianal shield not fused with ventral shield; exopodal patterning between CxII–III spotted; pedofossae III absent; CxIV-marginal suture absent; femur III and IV with small distal lamellae, seta pv1 not significantly thickened; femur IV not elongated; seta h1 with bulbous base. Female: setae st 2-4 10–20 long; lyrifissure stp2 posterior of stp x; sternogynial shield reticulate, but not honeycomb-like, not flanked by pores, not surrounded by a distinct smooth area. Male: sternoventral shield without suture behind genital opening; genital opening not flanked by pores; seta h3 level with h2.

Description. Female: Idiosoma 1140 –1160 long, 820–860 wide; anterior hyaline projection with 1 pair of barbed setae 120–128 long. Marginal setae 5–7 long. Tritosternum base 33 long, 45 wide. Tetartosternum and sternal shield smooth; tetartosternum crown-shaped, 38–40 long at midline, maximum length 43–35, 118– 130 wide; st1-4 smooth, st 1 25–28 long, st 2 13–15 long, st 3 15–20 long, st 4 10–15 long; posterolateral margin of sternal shield acutely pointed, st 3-4 8–10 from posterior margin, eye-like pore stp x posterior to stp2. Sternogynial shield 170–178 long, 190–203 wide, with fine network of reticulation. Sternogynial shield flanked by 3–4 pairs of setae. Ventral shield with fine network of reticulation medially, lineate laterally, a large pore between CxIII–IV, a large pore (10–13 diameter) posteromedial of CxIV, 3 pairs of eye-like pores and ca. 5 pairs of small round pores, 9–10 pairs of setae, the most posterior and lateral are 5–10 long. Ventrianal shield 270–290 long, 670–700 wide, smooth, paranal setae 75–88 long, 3 pairs of lateral ventrianal setae 25–33 long, 1 pair setae flanking anal shield (8 long), 1 pair anteromedial setae 15 long; anterolateral corner of ventrianal shield not fused with ventral shield. Marginal shields smooth.

Legs. TrI with seta pv1 with minute barbs, not thicker than seta av1. FeI with seta pv3 similar to seta pv1 and pv2. FeII with lamella, especially prominent distal to seta pv1, seta ad1 smooth and thickened. FeIII with small lamella, seta pv1 not spine-like. Femur IV 125–133 long, 113–128 wide at distal end, with small distal lamella, seta pv1 not spine-like, seta pd2 approximately in line with ad2. TaII and III with seta av2 spine-like, seta av2 longer than seta av3. Legs II–IV with thickened ad and pd setae, especially on femora and genua.

Gnathosoma . Seta h1 smooth, curved, 63–70 long, distance between h1-h1 33–35; h2 with few barbs, 63 long; h3 5–8 long, posterolaterad h2; palpcoxal seta 10–13 long. Corniculi on tubercles 12–15 long. Palp, seta av1 on trochanter with 6 branches up to 15 long, seta av2 with small barbs, spur with accessory spine. Chelicera, fixed digit 188–195 long, movable digit 55–63 long; fixed digit with 2 large and 2 minute teeth; excrescences arise from an enlarged base of digit and comprise a large brush-like process, a ribbon-like process with a serrate edge, and a ribbon-like process with a ciliated edge; processes extend at least 80 past end of chelicerae.

Male: Idiosoma 1090 –1160 long, 810–860 wide. Tetartosternum 45–50 long at midline, 88–93 wide; st1 smooth, 68–75 long; st2 smooth, 15–20 long; st3 smooth, 30 long. Genital opening 55–63 long, 75–80 wide. Ventral shield with network of reticulation medially, lineate reticulation laterally; ventrianal and marginal shields smooth. Gnathosoma . Seta h1 63–68, smooth, with bulbous base; seta h3 8 long, lateral to and in line with h2. Palpcoxal seta 8 long.

Etymology. I am pleased to name this for Alan Gillogly, whose collections of passalids from Thailand yielded three new species.
