Vernacular Names: Sanborn's Bonneted Bat.
Synonyms: Eumops amazonicus Handley 1955 .
Distribution: Chiapas ( Mexico), NW Honduras, SW Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela, Guianas, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil.
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).
