Report as epibiont on nematodes
This species was reported on Spirinia parasitifera (Bastianı 1865) from Southern Kattegatt ( Denmark) ( Allgén 1934).
Remarks
Jankowski (1981) proposed the genus Lissacineta for representatives of Thecacineta that have the lorica without folds. Dovgal (2002) commented that the character mentioned above is not a good character for erecting a separate genus and the name Lissacineta Jankowskiı 1981 was synonymised with Thecacineta Collinı 1909 .
