Diagnosis: Males of P. natalis are characterized by the sinuous RTA, a thin embolus, and the very large MA and FC as well as the proximal part of the tegulum that is provided with a pointed frontal prong (CAPT). Females are recognized by the epigyne with a large roughly A-shaped dark pattern and sinuous posterior margin.

Etymology: The species name is a noun in apposition. It refers to the fact that the species was recognized on the birthday of one of the authors.

Description: Male (holotype, MRAC 112910). Total l 5.00.

Carapace chestnut brown, covered by tiny warts forming a network with polygonal meshes. Carapace l: 2.50; w: 2.15. Fovea deep, clearly delimited. Sternum warted, l: 1.15; w: 1.25. Abdomen greyish brown, with a large, brown dorsal scutum covering 85% of do abdominal surface area.

Legs orange-brown, covered by fine warts.

Male palp ( Fig. 27A–D View Figure 27 ): RTA fairly long, sinuous, with sharp tip; PTA very broad, short; embolus very thin, originating in centre of palp running along posterior margin of MA; MA large, with broad base, curved, tapered distal part; FC long, with broad base, gradually tapered to elongate distal part; proximal part of tegulum with tapered, thin frontal protrusion (CAPT) and slightly serrated, short, broad, retrolateral apophysis; PAPT a fairly long triangular apophysis.

Female (paratype, MRAC 114475). Total l: 4.52.

Carapace as in male, l: 2.00; w: 1.72. Sternum warted, l: 0.92 w: 1.08. Abdomen greyish brown, without do scutum. Legs orange-brown, covered by fine warts.

Epigyne ( Figs 27E, F View Figure 27 , 38Q View Figure 38 ): with fairly large oval, shallow depression in the middle; posterior margin sinuous, slightly concave in the centre, overhanging dark triangular area; spermathecae strongly sclerotized, with large, curved, lobate ducts in front of them.
