Diagnosis: Males of P. bongella are characterized by the short RTA with a thin sharp dorsal point, the simple basal prong on the tegulum, and the large, cup-shaped MA.
Etymology: The species name is an adjective derived from the type locality.
Description: Male (holotype). Total l 4.05.
Carapace brown, covered by tiny warts in a dispersed pattern with some radial striae. Carapace l: 1.95; w: 1.65. Fovea deep, clearly delimited. Sternum smooth, l: 0.93; w: 0.95. Abdomen greyish brown, with an ill-defined, yellowish brown dorsal scutum covering 40% of do abdominal surface area. Legs orangebrown, unwarted, terminal halves of femora darker.

Male palp ( Fig. 50A, B View Figure 50 ): RTA short, tapered to obliquely truncate tip; base with small toothed dorsal excrescence; PTA large, tooth-shaped; embolus with

broad base itself with large tooth, pointing sideward, distal part narrow, sickle-shaped; MA cup-shaped; FC small, membranous; basal part of tegulum with large ve extension, rounded at tip; PAPT large and rounded, pointing outward; CAPT thin, curved outward.
Female unknown.
