Distribution in Iran. Ardabil (Platia coll.; Bagheri et al. 2004a), East Azarbaijan, Guilan ( Cate et al. 2002), Golestan ( Bagheri et al. 2004a; Gholikhajeh et al. 2012), Mazandaran ( Guglielmi & Platia 1985; Mardjanian 1987; Platia 2013a), Iran (no locality cited) ( Bagheri et al. 2004b; Khanjani 2006; Cate 2007).
General distribution. Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iran, Italy, Moldavia, Mongolia, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Serbia-Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine ( Cate 2007), Israel ( Platia 2010a).
