Locality: not reported ( Argentina).
Reference: Fain and Bochkov ( 2003).
Comments: Fain and Bochkov established this genus in the content of the family Pyroglyphidae , but later Mironov ( 2007) moved it to the Psoroptoididae . The bird died in quarantine, import from Argentina.
