Zamarada opposita Prout, 1922: 180 , pl. I, fig. 23. Syn. Locus typicus: Transvaal (Holotype Ƌ in TMP).

Genetic data. BIN: BOLD:AAQ3772 (n=2 from Ethiopia, n=4 from South Africa, Swaziland, Namibia; maximum variation 0.8%). Nearest species: Z. ilma (4.8%).

Distribution. Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe ( Fletcher 1974; Aarvik & Bjørnstad 2007). New for the fauna of Ethiopia and Swaziland.
