Zamarada pulverosa Warren, 1895: 158 . Locus typicus: Cape Province: Annshaw, 98–249 (pres. by C.G. Narrett) (Neotype Ƌ designated by Fletcher (1974) in NHMUK).

Examined material. 2Ƌ: NW Ethiopia, 30km SE Bahir Dar, Tis Isat , Blue Nile Falls, 1640m (l), 11°29‘08“N 37°35‘28“E, 25.VI.2008, leg. Hacker & Schreier ( ZSM G 20357 View Materials / Ƌ; ZSM G 20353 View Materials / Ƌ / BC ZSM Lep 101617) GoogleMaps .

Genetic data. BIN: BOLD:ABY4670 (n=1 from Ethiopia, n=13 from South Africa, Zimbabwe; maximum variation 1.6%). Nearest species: Z. erugatoides (4.1%), Z. erugata (4.6%).

Distribution. Botswana, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe ( Swinhoe 1904; Gaede 1915; Fletcher 1974). New for the fauna of Ethiopia.

Remarks. Genitalia and DNA barcodes well matching those of the nominotypical populations.
