Description. Form: Elongate; strongly convex dorsally (Figs. 6, 7). Length: 13.5–14.5 mm (measured from the apex of the clypeus to the apex of the elytra); width: 6.5–7.5 mm (measured at base of the elytra). Color: Head, thorax, and underside of the body metallic dark-green; apical sternite of abdomen yellowish-brown or dark-brown, two basal antennal segments and apex of tibiae reddish-brown; elytra reddish-brown or dark-brown. Head: Deeply inserted in prothorax, with fine punctures. Clypeus short, with depressed line between labrum and clypeus. Outer surface with dense punctures and sparse pubescence. Eyes elliptical; average dorso-ventral eye length ¼ 0.32 mm; average interocular distance (at dorso-mesal margins) ¼ 1.76 mm; Two apical maxillary palpi broadened. Coronal suture invisible. Antennae slender, segment (1–11) length (average of type series) in millimeters 0.56, 0.24, 0.56, 0.36, 0.32, 0.32, 0.40, 0.32, 0.48, 0.48, 0.72. Pronotum: Average length at middle ¼ 5.10 mm, average width at middle ¼ 3.10 mm. Posterior angles almost right angles; central disc impunctate; lateral margin depressed, with a deep depression on each side, from basal margin to the middle, with deep punctures in depressions. Scutellum: Triangular , with apex rounded, impunctate. Elytra: Length ¼ 1.20 mm, width (at middle) ¼ 8.0 mm. Distinctly striate, interstice with fine punctures; epipleuron broadened basally, strongly narrowed posteriorly, inner edge bearing a row of fine setae. Underside: Finely pubescent. Shiny, prosternal process and metasternum impunctate, finely pubescent, metaepisternum with dense and coarse punctures. Abdominal sternite with fine punctures. Inner margin of epipleuron with line of setae. Median lobe: Apex of aedeagus rounded in ventral view. In lateral view long and slender, gradually thinned towards apex ( Figs. 13, 14 View Figs ).
