Type species. Dialox stellatus Keifer, 1962c: 18–19 .
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; gnathosoma large, abruptly curved and bent down near base; anterior lobe emarginated, shield with pronounced transverse groove near rear margin; empodium divided; coxae I and coxae II each with 3 setae.
This genus is monotypic ( Amrine et al. 2003).
