Type species. Acarhis lepisanthis Keifer, 1975b: 1–2 .

Diagnosis. Body fusiform; gnathosoma large, abruptly curved and bent down near base; scapular setae (sc) and tubercles near rear shield margin, directed forward; genual setae absent form both legs, empodium divided; coxae I and coxae II each with 3 setae.

This genus consists of 3 species ( Amrine et al. 2003) and all were described from Thailand.
