Type species. Mangophyes siami Chandrapatya & Boczek, 2001b: 111–114 .
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; dorsal palp genual setae d bifurcate; scapular setae (sc) and tubercles ahead of rear shield margin; genu II seta absent, empodium entire; opisthosoma with smooth dorsal annuli.
This genus is monotypic ( Amrine et al. 2003).
