Type species. Vimola flacourtiae Chandrapatya & Boczek, 2002b: 138–141 .
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; gnathosoma large, abruptly curved and bent down near base; scapular setae (sc) absent; paraxial tibial seta (l’) absent, empodium divided; anterolateral setae on coxisternum І (1b) absent; opisthosomal setae e absent.
This genus is monotypic ( Amrine et al. 2003).
