Type species. Liparus eugeniae Boczek, 1996: 62 , 63.
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; tibia very small, paraxial tibial seta (l') absent, empodium entire; scapular tubercles and setae on rear shield margin; coxae I and coxae II each with 3 setae.
This genus is monotypic ( Amrine et al. 2003)
