Type species. Thacra piperasia Keifer, 1978: 11–12 .
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; empodium entire; scapular setae (sc) on rear shield margin, directed posterior; opisthosoma setae c2 absent.
This genus is monotypic ( Amrine et al. 2003).
