Type species. Bischofius kanchanaburi Boczek & Chandrapatya, 2000d: 351–355 .
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; paraxial tibial seta (l’) absent, empodium entire; frontal lobe very short and broad, scapular setae (sc) present; opisthosoma with a single middorsal ridge.
This genus is monotypic ( Amrine et al. 2003).
