Holotype M (with associated larval and pupal exuviae): Tonnégrande, [ Tonnegrande River ], French Guiana ( MNHP *); coll. J. Clastrier; 6 Sept. 1968; no. 3631-15.

The type series of Wy. trifurcata (holotype, allotype no. 3689-31 and five paratypes, nos 3689-32, 3691-35, 3778-41, 3786-24 and 3794-20), provisionally deposited in the personal collection of J. Clastrier ( Clastrier 1973: 46), was found in the MNHP during this study (microscope slides only).
