Head in frontal view 1.25× wider than high ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (a)); toruli inserted above lower margins of eyes ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (a)); scape not reaching median ocellus ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (a)); head in dorsal view with width 2.09× length ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (b)); POL 2.8× longer than OOL ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (b)); eye in lateral view with height 1.5× length ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (c)). Mesoscutum width 1.72× length ( Figure 2d View Figure 2 ); mesoscutellum length 0.77× width ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (d)). Forewing ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (e)) infuscate area between parastigma and apex of postmarginal vein except for hyaline region behind marginal vein; basal cell with one row of setae; basal fold setose; marginal vein 1.52× longer than postmarginal vein and 2.6× longer than stigmal vein. Propodeum without median carina but with longitudinal paramedial furrows in middle third ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (f)). Gaster 1.88× longer than wide, Gt 1 with posterior margin deeply emarginate ( Figure 1 View Figure 1 ).

Remarks

The recently collected female from Iran differs slightly from the type specimen in both general colouration and the forewing venation: the dorsal aspect of the mesosoma is yellowish red, whereas in the holotype the scapulae, mesoscutellum, metanotum and a median area of the propodeum are mixed with green, blue and bronze metallic colour; further, the marginal vein is 2.6× the length of the stigmal vein whereas in the holotype the marginal vein is nearly 3× the length of the stigmal vein.

Remarks

A comparison was made with the original description of the holotype.
