Ex Archilochus colubris (rubythroated hummingbird): NC, Haywood Co., Cataloochee, 6 Jul. 2001, P. Super. Trochiliphagus lineatus is a hostspecific ectoparasite of the rubythroated hummingbird ( Price et al. 2003).
