Report found among ascidians – This species was reported among algae, ascidians, bryozoans and alcyoniids from Sydney, southeastern Australia, as Agaue panopae (syn.: Halacarus panopae ) by Lohmann (1893).
Remarks – Bartsch (2016a) commented that the record of Agaue panopae from Australia by Lohmann (1893) should be excluded due to its unproven identity.
