This species was obtained at Station 315, at a depth of 225 fathoms. It was also obtained by the steamer " Fish Hawk," August 18, 1882, at Station 1112 (Lat. 39° 5(3' N., Long. 70° 35' W., 245 fathoms), and was seen by Dr. Bean on the same vessel in 18S0.
