Type species. Ancistrotilla azurea Brothers, 2012 (male, female; holotype male), by original designation. Taxonomic history. Valid generic name.

Sex association. The type species was described from both sexes by Brothers 2012: 229–234, figs 1–3.

Distribution. Australian.
