LITERATURE. — Portier et al. (2002); ABC (2020).

FIELD DATA. — WABD.

STATUS. — Afrotropical vagrant or Resident?

REMARK. — Resident in the Sahel zone north of Burkina Faso ( Borrow & Demey 2014), but according Portier et al. (2002) “can be found” in the Oursi-Darkoye Lakes, Sahel Partial Reserve; moreover an observations of three individuls near a lake 5 km north of Bollé, Sanmatenga Province, 12.III.2015, is reported in WABD with a detailed description. The status of this species in Burkina Faso needs further assessment.
