LITERATURE. — Pavia et al. (2012); Borrow & Demey (2014).

MUSEUM MATERIAL. — MCCI 3258.

STATUS. — Palaearctic vagrant (Palaearctic migrant?)

REMARK. — One specimen collected in south Burkina Faso, Lemorodougou Lake, Cascade Region, 13.II.2010 ( Pavia et al. 2012) represents the first record for the country. This record is not reported by Borrow & Demey (2014), where it is reported as a rare non- Breeding visitor at the Burkina Faso-Ghana border.
