STATUS. — Palaearctic migrant.

REMARK. — Recent tracking experiments with more than 100 birds from the European Breeding range, show that very few individuals reach Burkina Faso in winter, only in extreme north ( Sarà et al. 2019; Morinaj et al. 2020).
