LITERATURE. — Green & Sayer (1979); Dowsett (1993); Borrow & Demey (2001, 2014); Balanca et al. (2007); Dowsett et al. (2013); Meier et al. (2020).

STATUS. — Palaearctic migrant.

REMARK. — There are few field records in Burkina Faso, but there are tracks of migratory birds tagged with geolocators in Switzerland across Burkina Faso ( Meier et al. 2020).
