Type locality: “ Mozambique: Delagoa-Bay” [Maputo Bay , Mozambique] .

Distribution: Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Namibia, South Africa ( d’Orbigny 1902, 1913; Palestrini 1992; Davis et al. 2020).
