= Proagoderus aciculatus var. ahenus ( d’Orbigny, 1902) (type locality: “ Mozambique: Delagoa-Bay ” [Maputo, Mozambique]).

Type locality: “In terra Natalensi et prope fluvium Limpopo ” [KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, and near Limpopo River ] .

Distribution: Mozambique, South Africa ( Boheman 1857; d’Orbigny 1902, 1913; Palestrini 1992; Davis et al. 2020).
