Generitype of Pimpinella Linnaeus (vide Rafinesque, Good Book: 52. 1840).

Current name: Pimpinella saxifraga L. ( Apiaceae ).

Note: Although Weide (in Feddes Repert. 64: 251. 1962) indicated unspecified material in BM (presumably in the Clifford herbarium) as “Standard”, this does not effect typification.
