Iran. Hormozgan Province: Qeshm I. (four stations around the island).

General distribution. Indo-West Pacific: Madagascar, Mauritius, Réunion, Seychelles, Red Sea, Persian Gulf, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia (Queensland), Ryukyu Is., Fiji, Samoa, Society Is.

Habitat. Rocky/cobble intertidal to 50 m deep ( Chace 1988).
