Previous records from SEP. In the vicinity of the seamounts “Rock” (25º58'S 100º41'), “Ichthyologist” (25º07'S 99º35'W) and “Dome” (25º04'S 97º26'W) ( Vereshchaka, 1990).
Geographic distribution. Samoa, Indo-Pacific between 10º and 25ºS, epi- and mesopelagic between 25 and 300 m ( Mauchline and Murano, 1977) .
