76. Formica badia View in CoL   LSID .

Worker. Length 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 lines.-Chestnut-brown: closely resembling Polyergus rufescens   LSID , but with the mandibles toothed; head subovate; the eyes ovate, placed high on the sides of the head towards the vertex. Thorax rounded in front, compressed behind; the metathorax obliquely truncated. Abdomen oblong-ovate, the apex fuscous; the scale of the peduncle incrassate, slightly rounded in front and flattened behind.
